I work for a small serial entrepreneur, who has many interests and markets that he is competing in. As such, I was hired to wear as many hats as possible. My day to day ranges from coming up with a new logo for the next business venture, working on a marketing campaign, debugging CSS/JS on a website, editing/rendering video, to designing commercial print labels and packaging for our myriad of products.
I worked on a small team of developers to build responsive web applications using some of the most modern frameworks, languages, and task runners. Including Bootstrap, SASS, AngularJS, and Grunt.
My primary responsibilities were to develop, maintain, and expand the 'Mini-cart' and 'Mini-Pop' applications. These applications provided an interface that allowed customers the ability to add items to their cart, as well as accessories, options, and add-on items all through asynchronous ajax calls. Languages used: AngularJs, jQuery, CSS/LESS, and Jade. I also worked with build systems comprised of NPM, Brunch, and Grunt.
I spearheaded the company's creative marketing department by developing a comprehensive range of marketing collateral. This included but was not limited to: magazine and web advertising, email marketing campaigns, website layout and design, interactive pdf presentations, catalogs, brochures, product photography/editing, videography/editing, internal signage and communication, and trade show posters, banners, and booth layout.
Create CMS and responsive/mobile websites for clients using Wordpress. Create marketing collateral such as business cards, posters, etc. Create brands, experiences, and online presences for clients either from the ground up or based around their existing branding and style.
I collaborated with the company's marketing/communications team to design a wide variety of promotional materials, including but not limited to: multi-page catalogs, print ads, brochures, pamphlets, posters, counter mats, and signage for both the interior and exterior of the building. Once the marketing/communications team approves a project it was my job to digitally layout and design the overall look of the project, then prepare the finished product for both print and the web. This generally involves using Indesign, Illustrator, Acrobat, and shooting/editing photos in Photoshop.
Here are a few examples of my news-graphics, print ads, catalogs, brochures, freelance work, some old student stuff, and so forth...
